WORKSHOP: Best Practice Guidelines: Powerful Tools for Creating Clinical Excellence and Healthy Work Environments
Learning Objective #1: Gain understanding of the framework which identifies the relationship between healthy work environment and clinical best practice.
Learning Objective #2: define the elements of health work environments and the relationship between evidence, guidelines and clinical excellence.
This workshop will provide success for clinical guideline implementers by providing a framework which demonstrates the relationship between healthy work environments and clinical best practices. Using the elements of a healthy work environment, and knowledge about the relationship between evidence, guidelines, and clinical excellence, participants will learn how to assess environmental readiness and address environmental issues prior to embarking on clinical guideline implementation. Participants will be supplied with tools and strategies for guideline implementation and learn how to incorporate healthy work environment best practices as a means of developing a supportive and enabling practice context.
