WORKSHOP: Evidence-Based Practice: Building Knowledge & Skills to Advance a Best Practice Culture
Learning Objective #1: Discuss the evoluation and importance of evidence-based practice.
Learning Objective #2: Describe effective strategies for applying evidence to practice.
This intensive, interactive workshop will provide participants the opportunity to build knowledge and skills that are essential for implementing evidence-based practice (EBP). An overview of the five steps of the EBP process will be provided with a focus on building skills in honing the clinical question and critical appraisal. Emphasis will be placed on motivating change toward a best practice culture through EBP, including discussion of strategies for moving from evidence to action.
