Included will be a discussion of the ramifications of well-being within the climate of vulnerability, including disparity, with specificity to various populations, health care problems and settings.  Exemplars are used to illuminate implications of the phenomenon of well-being within specific groups and situations, with particular emphasis on the elderly and others who are at risk globally for compromised health care.
