This workshop will enable attendees to gain a broad understanding of the theory, aims and practicalities of quantitative synthesis, with a particular focus on meta-analysis (the statistical method for combining research data from across multiple studies). This one-day workshop does not require an advanced understanding of statistics and will suit researchers, educators, administrators, clinical specialists and higher degree students interested in the procedures to increase the precision of treatment effects related to clinical decision making.
