There is much confusion about how evidence-based practice (EBP), research and quality improvement (QI) are different or alike. These three key concepts for improving outcomes will be discussed. Emphasis will be on how to integrate the three concepts into nursing curricula. It is expected that participant will have interactive discussion as part of this session; prompter questions will be provided to foster rich dialogue..
- Compare and contrast evidence-based practice, research and quality improvement.
- Provide the case for including EBP, research and QI in nursing curricula.
