Learning Objective 2: PROPOSE STRATEGIES FOR PERMANENT EDUCATION OF NURSES AND DOCTORS IN PUBLIC HEALTH
We report the experience of operation of the Education Program for Working for Health (PETSAUDE) in Cuiabá-MT. The report describes the stages of implementation, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses in the process. In strongholds is through implementation of an extension project, which included students and professors of the Nursing and Medical professionals and also 12 teams in the Family Health Strategy, which as a whole has assisted over 4,000 people. Within the field work had a strong approximation of the participating subjects around the ideals that permeate the Family Health and the SUS, which constituted a very significant learning for both students as for others who participated in the project. Among the weaknesses we had some changes in the management of the Department of Health, delivering some disorders that have been overcome
