Description/Overview: This session is designed to facilitate an international discussion regarding the care of older adults and the nurses who practice in settings dedicated to this population. Nurses from a multitude of countries will present their views on best practices in gerontologic nursing, examine the needs of the older population in various parts of the world, discuss the educational and resource needs of gerontologic nurses, and identify cooperative efforts to support the work of gerontologic nurses in every part of the world.
