Summary: Dr. Champion presents innovative behavioral interventions developed through active community participation to reduce health disparities among vulnerable populations of ethnic minority women and adolescents in rural and urban communities. This work has international public health policy implications for prevention of STI/HIV, unintended pregnancy substance use, and abuse among these populations.
