Historical Perspectives of Morale Research

This paper will present a historical journey on the construct of morale. Morale has been conceptualised in terms of teams and heirachies over a number of centuries. This paper will provide participants with a grounding on the origins of morale and how it has come to be understood in the contemporary heath care setting.
