Description/Overview: The session will emphasize aspects of the IOM recommendations regarding transforming leadership that will assist in preparing and enabling nurses to lead change in advancing healthcare.
Learner Objective #1: Identify changes in nursing leadership necessary to prepare and enable nurses to lead change to advance health.
Learner Objective #2: Recognize strategies and techniques that are currently being utilized to transform nursing leadership.
