Description/Overview: This session will highlight the role that nurse educators play in advancing the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals and the activities undertaken by nurses in academic settings to advance these goals.
Learner Objective #1: Recognize the role of the educator in incorporating the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals in the nursing curriculum.
Learner Objective #2: Identify and define the Millennium Development Goals and the specific activities to advance these goals.
