Part of the strategy that nurse educators did in Botswana in fighting the HIV/AIDS scourge was to partner with the communities under which they served.  This strategy was achieved through involvement of the students and the nurse educators taking assignments with the community through various committees that involves the community.  Such structures enhance community participation and improve the health education in the prevention and control of HIV/AIDS.
