Description/Overview: This session will focus on the principles of being a change agent chapter leaders can move from strategy to implementation and how STTI and its structure can be used as a vehicle for change. Initiatives and projects that were implemented by Tau Lambda-at-Large Chapter in Africa will be shared. Some of these initiatives are the Collaboration in Higher Education for Nursing and Midwifery in Africa (CHENMA) project, Academic Leadership Development Academy (ALDA), and the Maternal and Child Leadership Academy (MCHLA, in collaboration with STTI Foundation). Furthermore, attention will be given to the structure of the Tau Lambda–at-Large Chapter and how members have used it across the continent for development, knowledge exchanges and collaboration. Lessons learnt will also be shared.
