The purpose of this study is to discuss renal transplant recipient’s uncertain feeling after surgery and it’s related factors. We adopted cross-sectional method to do this study and chose renal transplant recipients who had discharged for more than 6 months from a certain medical center in South Taiwan as object. In the 97 effective questionnaires, we found the average score of renal transplant recipients’ uncertain feeling is middle-leveled 66.09 (SD 11.96). The patients’ uncertain feelings had no discrepancy when there were differences in age, sex, religion, education, job and marriage. Self-consciousness of health improvement condition and the bothering symptoms were main factors to influence patients’ uncertain feeling. That was, those who were self-conscious of better improvement had less uncertain feeling; while those who had more bothering symptoms had more uncertain feelings. The result of this study may offer nurse personnel realization toward renal transplant recipients’ uncertain feelings after surgery and it’s related factors, then take suitable steps to help them making positive assessment on health improvement and reducing the uncomfortable symptoms caused by medicine or therapy. Reducing the happening of uncertain feeling can help patients confidently return to family, job and society.
