This presentation will focus on how the “Hamilton Health Sciences Model for Implementing Evidence-Based Nursing” and the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) Best Practice Guideline, “Woman Abuse: Screening Identification and Initial Response” were used to implement practice changes as to how nurses and health care professionals assess patients for domestic abuse.
