Description/Overview: Traditional clinical educational methodologies are being questioned as new possibilities emerge with simulation and objective structured clinical examinations (OSCEs). What is the return on investment (ROI) of simulation and OSCE adoption? Current evidence will be presented. Participants will be asked to speculate along with the presenter about better ways to capture the ROI on simulation.
Learner Objective #1: Compare and contrast clinical and monetary ROI on present educational methodologies.
Learner Objective #2: Discuss new ways to capture the ROI of simulation/OSCE.
